Magtron Hole Cutting Technology
The MagTap features a special high torque, electronically controlled reversing motor unit and the optional tapping adapter permits the fast and accurate drilling and tapping of holes up to 30mm diameter.
In addition to the standard cutter range, cutters for special purpose and special sizes, materials and finishes such as ceramic or TiN (titanium nitride), are available to special order.

There is a wide range of accessories for Magtron machines - chucks, arbors, adaptors and lubrication systems, both integral and external for maximum versatility in fabrication shops and out on site.
Magtron machines and cutters are carefully manufactured in our state of the art Sheffield factory using a blend of traditional skills and the very latest computer controlled machine tools. Substantial recent investment in new production capacity means most Magtron products are available ex-stock, while non standard sizes and special purpose items can be quickly developed.
