Compact Linear Guide
Ideal for transport-type systems such as material transfer and filling lines, UtiliTrak offers high reliability, low cost, easy installation and low maintenance. It’s a sleek, compact linear guidance solution made for running two linear motion systems in parallel. Its design doesn’t require absolute parallelism for accurate operation.
the UtiliTrak linear guide consists of DualVee® guide wheels and a vee channel on one side and MadeWell® crown rollers and an open channel on the other side. The DualVee wheel side serves as the motion guide, while the roller side allows for parallel misalignment toward or away from the channel base.
UtiliTrak is available in two basic series: SW Series steel guide wheels running on an induction hardend steal channel for larger loads and smooth operation, and PW Series polymer guide wheels running on an anodized aluminum channel for lighter duty applications where highly smooth operation is not as critical. A third option, CR Series stainless steel composite, is perfect for higher loads requiring corrosion-resistance. UtiliTrak can handle loads up to 14,040N and speeds up to 5 g's.
Steel or aluminum bridge connections complete the system by joining the two slides, providing a stable mounting surface.
A new carriage brake option allows the carriage on either the SW or PW series to be manually locked at any position along the UtiliTrak rail. The brake system can be easily installed on an existing UtiliTrak system or pre-assembled at the factory on new systems.
