Platform Lifts
A current programme of work is a commission to design and manufacture a platform access lift for the burgeoning industry.
Many of the lifts installed in the UK are imported, and the current commission was for a home grown product.
Secondly, the brief included the challenge to create a high quality platform lift with unique features of aesthetic design and innovative functions. The target is the high specification, bespoke and prestige markets.
This PLC controlled, belt driven design has proven to be highly innovative, by avoiding commonly accepted industry standards and adopting a fresh approach.
The Alta lift therefore is the only lift where the drive system can be positioned on any side, making the installation of the lift 100% flexible. The installation process was also designed to be very short and cost effective as much of the lift can be pre-assembled in the factory.
