Heil Farid European Company Limited has been manufacturing refuse collection vehicles for more than 30 years. Heil Europe selected GGB’s High-Strength GAR-MAX® maintenance-free bearings for their high static load capacity and excellent resistance to shock, misalignment, chemicals and contamination.
Bestec GmbH specializes in the design and manufacture of vacuum systems for surface analysis and deposition techniques in the research and development of semiconductors. To load its vacuum system, a 200 kg special steel cover plus a 50 kg lifting frame are raised and swung aside. GGB replaced the existing motorized bearings with two DU® self-lubricating, metal-polymer plain bearings in EXALIGN™ friction bearing housings. The GGB bearings are maintenance-free, smooth running, durable and more cost-effective than the motorized bearings they replaced.
