Lime Storage Bin Valves
Lime storage bins have usually some sort of shut off valve, mostly those valves stick because of the hygroscopic nature of the lime.
Often it takes hours of hard work with sledgehammers and come-alongs to move open or close those valves.
Because of an injury one of our customers had contacted us to find out whether we have a solution for this problem. We devised a concept. The Stargate O-Port® valve was ordered and installed. It works since about 4 years now to the satisfaction of the customer, who meanwhile installed one more Stargate O-Port® valve on another lime storage bin.
