Cox & McKay Electrical Engineering (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1964 by Jimmy McKay and Arthur Cox. The original charter of the company was to design and supply cable accessories to mining, utilities and railways.
Today Cox & McKay is still a leading supplier of cable accessories to the mining and utilities markets with contracts being held from Anglogold, Goldfields, DRD, Northam Platinum, De Beers, Harmony Gold and Anglo Operations as well as Ekurhuleni and Tshwane Metros.
