Drawings are checked using your company drawing standards. Standards are requiredr to achieve ISO certification.
We can assist with drawing standards by sending you a generic standard based on ISO and SANS 10111 which you can tailor to suit your company.
Please feel free to send a few sample drawings in order to demonstrate the sevice we offer.
Costing is done according to hours used, bearing in mind that a thorough check on a drawing takes approx. 8% of the time taken to create the drawing.
The checking should be tailored to the life cycle phase of the project.
Prototype drawings need to be checked quickly for manufacturability, missing dimensions etc.
Production drawings must comply totally with company standards.
It is our duty to point out cheaper and easier ways to acheive the same functionality.
