Company Description
From February 1980 to September 1987, Dynatec Mining Limited operated as a mining contracting company providing services for the mineral industry in Canada and the USA. In 1988, Dynatec purchased the assets of the Tonto group of companies expanding its capability to include a drilling division. From 1988 to 1997, we were known as Dynatec International Limited with two principal divisions, Dynatec Mining and Tonto Drilling, engaged in projects around the world.
Dynatec Corporation was formed in October 1997 to include SICI technologies, the highly reputed Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta based company that specializes in hydrometallurgical technologies. As a result of the amalgamation, we now offer services from exploration drilling through mine development to production.
Dynatec is on the threshold of tremendous growth. Armed with a strong Board of Directors and a strong balance sheet, the company intends to pursue acquisitions and investment in major projects that will be undertaken.
On September 2, 1999 Dynatec completed the purchase of 7,730,852 common shares in the capital of Highwood Resources Ltd. representing approximately 35% of the presently issued and outstanding common shares of Highwood.
