The ED 2000 treats water before it enters heat transfer equipment, pumps, spray nozzles, etc. where scale is likely to form. The unit precipitates dissolved mineral ions into large insoluble crystals so that scale does not adhere to surfaces. The ED 2000 PLUS is also now available which protects against scale, biofouling and corrosion in cooling systems. The two technologies are utilized with proprietary filtration to offer a complete non chemical solution for cooling water treatment.
