Key Technology designs, manufactures, and markets automated inspection systems, specialized conveying systems, and processing and preparation systems.
Key’s customers use these systems to process food products including fruit, vegetables, potatoes, snacks, cereals, nuts, and poultry. The company’s optical inspection and sorting systems inspect moving products for even subtle flaws in color, size, and shape. Applications include all of the above, and grains, dry beans, coffee, pharmaceuticals, wood chips, and wood veneer products.
Key Technology is headquartered in Walla Walla, Washington, with additional manufacturing facilities in Redmond, Eugene, and Medford, Oregon. Our European division, Key Technology BV, is in Beusichem, The Netherlands. Both the US and European facilities include research and development laboratories. The firm has won awards for inspection systems, control systems, conveying technology, and product preparation equipment.
