NAS Polymers was established in 2009 to manufacture Polymer Concrete Manhole Covers and Frames for the South African and Sub Saharan Africa Market. NAS Polymers is a Close Corporation Registered in South Africa “Reg no: 2009/207244/23. The manhole cover and frame industry are still been dominated by “cast iron” manufacturers. However, there has always been the problem of theft as cast iron has recycle value.
A solution to the theft problem is Polymer, which is a mixture of Organic Resin, and Fillers. This material it light weight and has no resale value which minimizes theft.
We at NAS Polymers have done extensive tests on Polymer and have come up with a formula to ensure our products are durable and strong.
§ The dimensions of our products are as specified by the SABS.
§ Covers can be colour coded to suite the customers needs.
§ Descriptive names or numbers can be cast on the covers.
