Portland Machine Tool has been rebuilding, remanufacturing, retrofitting, repairing and servicing machine tools since 1978. The 15,000 square foot facility in Gorham, Maine has a 30 ton overhead crane with 25 feet under the hook height and 14 foot doors which can accommodate various machine tool types and sizes. A Favretto precision way grinder with a capacity of 5 feet by 5 feet by 20 feet highlights a complete machine shop. A staff of experienced technicians will rebuild most types of CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinders and specialty machines. PMT specializes in grinding, scraping and aligning slides, ways, and gibs.
