Xymech launches POLYGEL super-absorbent sachets for the meat and poultry packaging industries. POLYGEL is a gel based super-absorbent sachet which absorbs all the unwanted blood and fluids from your packaging. POLYGEL is manufactured and distributed by Xymech. POLYGEL represents a scientific breakthrough improvement in perishable food packaging - POLYGEL will absorb at least 50 times its weight in meat fluids compared to fluff pulp, which will only absorb 2 to 4 times its weight.
- The frequency of costly repackaging will be reduced.
- POLYGEL will help ensure increased dryness and safety of packaged goods during transportation and storage.
- The initial absorption, and subsequent retention properties of POLYGEL, is not adversely affected by freezing and thawing.
