Yuthane was founded in 1974 to manufacture solid elastomeric polyurethane to specific customer requirements.
These polyurethanes bridge the gap between rubbers and hard plastics. Because of their outstanding physical properties, they have displaced successfully steel, iron, nylon, rubbers, wood, leather, phenolic resins etc.. in many applications.
As castable materials they require less expensive tooling compared to compression or injection moulding techniques. Therefore they are ideal for prototypes, trials, researsh and development as well as large scale production.
Because of the economy of production a variety of products can be produced as a `one off ` with the same ease as a short or long production run, whilst the material can be soft or hard, flexibile or almost rigid.
