EngNet XC Winter Series - A Chilling Event

It was the 3rd event in the EngNet Mountain Bike Winter Series and it did not disappoint! With temperatures peaking at 4 degrees Celsius and a sleeting rain it was thought (and hoped) that no one would pitch. This was not to be as hard core (or certifiable) mountain bikers came out. The course was the usual good mix of hills, technical sections and single track with icy rain thrown in for good measure. Thankfully there were no major falls and everyone had a great time. We hope the next event on the 22nd August will be a little warmer!
