Engineers of all disciplines seeking fastening, fixing and assembly answers, ideas, inspiration or suppliers will find everything they need at the FAST Exhibition, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on October 21^st is the place to be.

Here manufacturing professionals can meet the experts who have “all” the answers. Explained Mark Newby, M.D. of organisers NewbyCom: “The FAST Exhibition has proved to be a rewarding hunting ground for problem-solving discussions in confidence – especially for those visitors who choose to bring samples or drawings with them.”

The FAST exhibition encompasses all types and methods of mechanical fastening including threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts, inserts, studs, rivets, inserts, welded, pressed, self-clinch, self-pierce and self interlocking systems as well as much more. There will also be many non-mechanical fastener systems such as adhesives, tapes and fibre-fasteners at the FAST Exhibition and at the IASE sister show.

On show are fasteners, and fastening and assembly systems designed for fastening of all types of components, assemblies, structural elements, covers, etc for use in the electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, marine, automotive, construction, general industrial, sheet metal working, fabrication, electrical, offshore, undersea, petrochemical, rail, aerospace, telecoms, and construction industries.

The FAST Exhibition is being held at the centrally located National Motorcycle Museum, adjacent to the NEC, and is open from 10am to 3pm. Entry is free. The Museum offers abundant free parking immediately outside the exhibition entrance, and the organisers are providing Complimentary Luncheon Vouchers and Complimentary Museum passes for qualifying visitors who register in advance. To take advantage of these special offers visitors need to be currently employed manufacturing professionals involved in design, production, purchasing or manufacturing management.
