Fastening & Assembly Exhibition assists southwest manufacturing industry
Company News Wednesday, November 17, 2010: Fastening and Assembly Solutions
Manufacturing industry in the Southwest will next year benefit from the UK’s best-known forum for fastening assembly and industrial adhesives technologies – the FAST & IASE Exhibitions – being held near Yeovil on 12
th May 2011.
FAST & IASE (Fastening & Assembly Solutions and Technology Exhibition, and Industrial Adhesives, Sealants & Encapsulants Exhibition), recently held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham were the location of a number of new product launches, with 80% of visitors rating the shows as good or excellent and 70% of visitors finding something unexpected. Hundreds of new products were seen at the exhibition for the first time in the UK, including new panel fasteners from PEM shown by Zygology, more than thirty new adhesive tapes introduced by Eurobond Adhesives, and new stud welding equipment unveiled by Nelson Stud Welding.
Springboarding from this success, the FAST and IASE Exhibitions take place next in the SouthWest at the Haynes International Motor Museum near Yeovil on 12
th May 2011 where SouthWest-based manufacturing industry can find all the fastening, adhesives and assembly answers it needs right on its doorstep for the first time. From nuts and bolts, rivets and fabric fasteners, security fasteners and special fasteners to adhesives and potting compounds – the experts and the answers can be found at FAST & IASE Southwest on 12
th May.
We have become used to interesting venues with FAST & IASE and the prestigious Haynes International Motor Museum (www.haynesmotormuseum.com) is no exception – located at Sparkford in Somerset it is the UK’s largest exhibition of the greatest cars from around the world. A living and working museum, with over 400 amazing cars and bikes from nostalgic classics of the 50s and 60s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to exciting super cars of today, like the Jaguar XJ220 and the Ferrari 360. There are halls dedicated to the Dawn of Motoring, The Red Room (sports cars), Speedway, Motorcycles, British, American and Specialist, as well as future classics from the last 25 years.
The exhibition organizers – NewbyCom – are offering a choice of a complimentary cooked breakfast for between 08.30 and 09.45 for those wishing to make an early start, or a complimentary luncheon voucher to a value of £5 to the first 250 pre-registered visitors only. Free parking on site, free museum entry (otherwise priced at £8.95), free entry to the shows.
