Robuschi Blowers to dominate display at Electra Mining 2016

For the first time ever, Italian pump manufacturer Robuschi, represented in South Africa by the Letaba Pumps, will be displaying a Robox Blower Unit at Electra Mining 2016 at Hall 6, Stand K12.

This follows from the high level of interest the Unit received at the leading trade fair in water sewage waste and raw materials management, IFAT, in Italy. “Because of the positive feedback the Unit is attracting globally, the Robuschi Robox Units will be a dominant display at Electra Mining this year,” says Brubin General Manager, Hannes Liebenberg, highlighting that these are designed for optimum use of waste water and water treatment applications.

The Robox Unit is a simple blower technology, which is highly effective in reducing noise since it is in an enclosed unit. It is also clean and easy to maintain, with cheaper system costs. “The design optimises space, and the unit can also be placed outside,” says Liebenberg. The company supplies the units with or without enclosures, depending on the application.

“Locally, there has been good uptake on this product. The moment people witness how the Unit operates, they become interested,” says Liebenberg, noting that buyers of the unit soon become loyal clients. “Clients like PPC, Rand Water Board, and SAME are using these units and are satisfied with its impressive results.”

According to clients, the Robox Unit is effective in performing reduced noise level operations in the field of low pressure compression. “It performs a low noise rating of only 6 dB(A), which is lower than the previous series,” says Liebenberg. The Unit is also designed for installation of the new electronic monitoring system, Sentinel, which provides effective safeguards for the entire blower package.

Liebenberg concludes that this product sells itself mostly through necessity, and a reputation of being highly effective.
