MARECHAL ELECTRIC has designed a range of compact, watertight PNC connectors for your electrical installations. Today the company unveils an ATEX version: the PNCX 10 A, designed specifically for harsh conditions and explosive atmospheres. Featuring MARECHAL®’s technically advanced silver-nickel butt contact system, PCNX connectors deliver industry-leading performance in any configuration.

 

 

PNCX is a compact connector that is both quick and easy to use. It features an intuitive, easy-grip handle design and is simple to disconnect. Once the connector has been connected or reconnected, a locking ring prevents accidental disconnection on load. This system ensures that the plug resists vibration and shocks (IK08) no matter how many times it is used (tested at 2,000 load cycles).

 

 

The MARECHAL® connector is designed for use in aggressive conditions and industrial environments bearing explosion risks. With a protection rating of IP66/IP67 (up to IP68 on request), the PNCX can be used in humid, corrosive, and polluted environments. It delivers excellent resistance to fluids of all kinds, including engine oils, petrol, grease, and cleaning products. This new range of connectors has also undergone salt and fog testing (1,000 hours in connected position).

 

 

PNCX cylindrical connectors comply with international standards, EU Directives, and local installation standards. They are also compliant with worker protection regulations in Belgium, Spain, and Italy.
