The plant was a non operational 3Q Plant. The opportunities in the Emalahleni District prompted the Management team to make a bold decision to put the plant back in operation.

 

The plant is managed by Thomas Tugwana. Thomas worked for a long time at the Middelburg plant as the senior batcher. In line with 3Q Mahuma’s BBBEE development plan, Thomas was promoted to plant manager. It is a well deserved promotion and Thomas already proved in the first few days of being operational that he is up to the task.

 

Thomas and his team is supported by Lourence Fraser and Johan Swanepoel. Lourence is the Area Manager for the Middelburg, Komati, Rietspruit and Witbank Region.

 

Johan recently joined 3Q Mahuma and will be responsible for business development in the Witbank and surrounding areas. Johan previously worked for Afrimat and is well known in the area. Welcome to a winning team Johan.

 

The plant is well equipped and will be able to produce up to 60m3 of concrete per hour, as is the norm for 3Q. Be sure to expect Quality service in the right Quantity – Quickly.
