ULTRASONIC, NON-CONTACT, NON-INVASIVE FLOW METERS
Ultrasonic flow meters have the advantage of being completely non-intrusive and do not come into contact with the flow fluid at all.
Ultrasonic flowmeters are easy to install, commission and maintain. They require no plant downtime and are suitable for almost all applications from demineralised water to slurries, including acids and alkalis. Ideal for both portable and fixed applications, line size has little influence on price.
With no obstruction to flow, no pressure drop and no maintenance, the cost of ownership is extremely low.
Portable flow meters are widely used for spot measurements, or for checking the accuracy of existing flow meters.
Installation costs for fixed units are low as you do not require any plant downtime or changes to existing piping. The meters can easily and inexpensively be removed for checking without interrupting plant operation.
Fuji's meters use the Time of Flight technology which is precise and ideal for clear liquids. The Greyline Doppler flow meters work well with liquids containing air bubbles, suspended solids and slurries.
