Bowman Products used at 138th British Open Golf 2009 July 16-19,Turnberry, Ayrshire
Bowman recently supplied a quantity of Exhaust Gas Heat Exchanger units to an American customer who, in turn built a number of suplemental combined heat and power (CHP)units.
These have since been returned to the UK and are to be used at the Turnberry Hotel complex which is host to the 138th British Open Golf 2009.
It will be the fourth time Turnberry has hosted The British Open Golf Championship.
The venue is famous for the 1977 Duel in the Sun between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.
The Turnberry complex is keen to reduce its carbon emissions in readyness for expanding its operation.

A major contributor to this efficiency is the use of Bowman exhaust gas heat exchangers. The Bowman units were a perfect match for the equipment supplied to meet Turnberry's needs to run the complex with back up power to protect against black outs and to supply heat for all of the water used for laundry, pools and rooms.
