Air Cylinder
An air cylinder is the housing component of what is also referred to as a piston assembly or pneumatic cylinder. In this device, compressed gas is injected into the air cylinder, causing a piston to move as a result of the pressure on the face of the piston. The piston then delivers a force through the piston rod to the object being controlled.
