Thermostats - Disc Thermostats
A Disc Thermostat uses a bimetal disc to actuate a circuit relay. When the temperature reaches a predetermined set point, the bimetal disc deforms and actuates the circuit. Mechanically actuated thermostats are preferred in critical situations as they are not susceptible to signal noise.
