Three Phase AC Motors
Three Phase AC Motors have three poles spaced at 120 degrees. This arrangement produces a rotating magnetic field in response input Three Phase AC power which generates torque on the rotor shaft. Three Phase motors are reliable and easy to maintain and do don't require a starting torque, unlike single phase AC motors.
